What is Social Emotional Learning?

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process of developing the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success. At East High School, our counselor offers a variety of groups through the school year. Groups are open to all students. Every session includes a lesson, discussion, and a related activity. Students are encouraged to collaborate with peers throughout the groups.
