Frequently Asked Questions

What are the enrollment requirements?

You must be 16 years old and no older than 19 years old, unless it is your 4th continuous year of high school. A parent or guardian must be able to attend the intake appointment with the prospective student, even if the student is 18 or older. If transferring from another district, it is helpful to have a copy of your transcript.

How do I request a transcript?

You may call the secretary at (707) 725-4461 x3021 and request a transcript or leave a detailed voice message with an address or fax # where the transcript is to be sent. You may also request a transcript in writing and mail the request to East High School. There is no charge for transcripts.

Is East High School a full day program?

East High School is a full day program for all probationary students and those students who are not on track or ahead of the yearly academic schedule to graduate high school on time with their class. Many students who are not required to attend in the afternoons do, in fact, return for the afternoon session. We encourage all students to attend the full day program.

Does East High School use a flex schedule?

Yes. If you have successfully completed your probationary period an your are on track or ahead of the yearly academic schedule to graduate high school on time with your class, you may be placed on our flexible afternoon schedule. This means that you are not required to attend our afternoon session. We also accommodate students who are working, parenting, or care taking of a parent with modified schedules.

What is your cell phone policy?

Cell phones may only be used before and after school and during breaks and lunch. A cell phone must be turned off during class time. Using a cell phone, for any reason, during class time will result in a detention to be served that day during lunchtime.
